Mobile app ad fraud is a growing problem. Juniper Research estimates that by 2022, 1 in 10 app installs will be fraudulent, growing from 1 in 13 in 2018. We learnt at Mobile Growth Summit that the top concern for mobile app marketers is paying for fake installs or fake traffic. However, this was not the only concern we heard about. Mobile app marketers also reported issues with wasting resources on reconciling invoices and a lack of transparency in fraud mitigation reporting.
